APCO EVENT EXPLORES EMERGING EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY
January 19, 2010, Orlando, Fla. - The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International will host its Winter Technology Summit January 25-27 in Orlando, Fla. to discuss the latest trends and emerging technologies in emergency communications.
"It generally takes tragedy to remind us of the importance of communications during an emergency and the unfortunate disaster in Haiti is no exception," APCO International President Richard Mirgon said. "We hope our event will facilitate dialogue and bring forth solutions to ensure communications reliability when the next emergency occurs."
