APCO International supports its members and our industry through special programs. We recognize the hard work and dedication of those employed in public safety communications and we understand that a good cause can sometimes need a boost.

Scholarships
Silent Key - The Silent Key Scholarship Award Program was initiated as a means of remembering and honoring individuals who have participated in APCO, contributed to APCO, and meant a great deal to APCO members. By remembering these wonderful individuals who mean so much to us, they continue to contribute to our organization even beyond the years we were privileged to have them in our midst. We would like to afford these individuals an eternal means of helping to develop those who will follow in their footsteps as leaders, mentors, and public safety communications professionals.
Commercial Advisory Committee Scholarship - The APCO CAC Scholarship Fund was initiated by the Commercial Advisory Committee as a means for its commercial members to give back to the public safety community. Scholarship funds will be received through the CAC and administered by APCO Institute. Fund donations will be accepted throughout the year and will be disbursed for public safety job related training through APCO Institute or through the APCO Virtual College at Jacksonville State University.
Sunshine Fund
The Sunshine Fund is a benevolent fund created by APCO International to provide financial support to current members of the Association or their immediate family members who face an event that places a significant financial burden upon them.
Awards

 Commemorate a special time or honor a colleague in our Walk of Heroes
This is no ordinary walkway. It is made up of custom-engraved bricks that pay tribute to individuals, groups, events and companies that have special places in the heart of the APCO community. This landmark is located on the APCO Headquarters property in Daytona Beach and leads to a beautiful waterside gazebo. And you are invited to be a part of it.
