Candidate APCO ANS 3.104.1-200x: Core Competencies and Minimum Training Standards for Public Safety Communications Training Coordinators

This proposed standard identifies the core competencies and minimum training requirements for Public Safety Communications Training Coordinators. This position is typically tasked with the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and administration of training within a public safety communication center. This document seeks to define the knowledge, skills, and duties of the individual responsible for the training program as well as the agency’s responsibilities for providing training to individuals in this critical function.
