Current CAD/MEDS Interfaces

The APCO Institute Multi-purpose Emergency Dispatch System (9-1-1 Adviser™) is designed to function with a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. In functioning with a CAD system, 9-1-1 Adviser™ will gather certain data from the CAD system such as basic ANI/ALI information and will relay information back to the CAD such as chief complaint type and response criteria. This prevents the unnecessary step of having a telecommunicator input data twice.
