As an ongoing part of APCO International’s Standards Development activities, we will be announcing when other standards development organizations have proposed standards that may affect public safety communications. As these standards are proposed, notice will be included in an APCO e-newsletter and on this page to give our members an opportunity to provide input on these proposals which ensures that public safety communications has a voice in the development of standards that affect our industry. Information regarding proposed standards will also be forwarded to the appropriate APCO International Committee for consideration and potential comment.
